Frequently asked questions
How is my exact age calculated?
The calculator subtracts your birth date from the reference date on the real calendar, accounting for different month lengths and leap years, then expresses the result as full years, remaining months and remaining days.
How are leap years and February 29 handled?
Leap days are counted in the total number of days lived. If you were born on February 29, your birthday countdown falls on March 1 in years that are not leap years.
Is my date of birth stored anywhere?
No. The entire calculation runs in your browser and nothing is sent to a server or saved.
