Count date changes until an event
A countdown in calendar days
Choose a target date and optionally name the event. Tomorrow is one day away; today is zero days away. Past targets show how many days have passed. Weekends and holidays stay in the count, making this suitable for a date-based event countdown rather than a working-day deadline.
Device date and equivalent hours
The starting day is the local calendar date on your device. The hours display multiplies the day count by 24; it is not a second-by-second timer and does not count the exact remaining clock hours until an event time. No event time is entered.
Quick dates and longer spans
Preset buttons select the next occurrence of their date. For a specific year, set the target field directly. Longer intervals also show a calendar breakdown using whole months and remaining days; a month is not replaced with a fixed 30-day duration.
Plan from the right measure
For a launch date or trip, a calendar-day countdown can help you see the available interval. If your question is how many staffed working days remain, use the business-days calculator with the team’s workweek and holiday calendar.

Frequently asked questions
Does the event name affect the result?
No. It labels the countdown but does not change its dates or arithmetic.
Are the displayed hours exact remaining hours?
No. They are the number of calendar days multiplied by 24.
Can I exclude weekends?
Use the business-days calculator for that question; this countdown includes every calendar date.
