Choose the calendar before using the total
Choose two dates, the weekdays your team works, and the holiday country. The default includes both endpoints and uses Monday to Friday. Switch to Monday to Saturday or mark a custom workweek if your operation follows a different schedule. A weekend is only a day off when it is outside the chosen workweek.
What gets deducted
Each included date is classified once: scheduled day off, holiday on a working day, or business day. Two holidays on the same date remove one day. A holiday on a scheduled day off does not remove another day. Regional records are added only when you select that region; municipal holidays and company closures can be entered as additional dates.
Use the calendar to audit the answer
Select a month and click a date to see the reason for its classification. If the total looks unexpected, check the workweek, endpoint switches, region and additional days before changing the dates. The range can cover up to 3,660 days between endpoints; longer periods must be split.
Match the tool to the question
This tool counts an existing interval. To find the date that is five business days after a starting date, use the deadline calculator. A contract, court, bank or carrier may define its own counting calendar; this tool applies the options you choose rather than determining those external rules.

Frequently asked questions
Can I add a municipal holiday?
Yes. Enter its date under additional holidays and days off, optionally followed by a description. Repeating the same date will not deduct it twice.
Does no holidays mean every date is a business day?
No. The selected workweek still applies. To count every weekday and weekend date, select all seven working days and do not add holidays.
What if holiday data is unavailable?
The requested result is hidden and an error is shown. Retry, or explicitly select no holidays if that is the calculation you intend.
